1. Who we are
Avifly ("we", "us") operates the website at avifly.dev, including the tools for converting AVIF images to JPG, PNG and WebP. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what choices you have.
2. Images you convert
The images you select for conversion are used solely to perform the conversion you requested and to deliver the result back to you. We do not view, sell, or share your images, and we do not build any profile based on them.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, device type, country, referrer). GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies. Data is reported to us only in aggregated form.
- Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
- IP addresses are anonymized by Google before storage.
- Google's own privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
4. Cookies and consent
On your first visit we ask for your consent via a cookie banner. You may accept or reject — both options have the same prominence. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. If you are located outside the EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland, cookies for analytics and advertising are enabled without a banner, as local law permits.
5. Advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. These vendors may use cookies to show you relevant ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. Where required by law, advertising cookies are only set after you grant consent.
6. Server logs
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical server log data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamp) for security and to deliver pages. This data is kept for a limited period and is not used to identify you.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings (14 months by default). Server log data is retained by our hosting provider for a maximum of 30 days. We do not maintain user accounts or profile databases.
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
